Iskcon is organizing many cultural programs during the festival\nwhich also includes Kids carnival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iskcon has been playing a pivotal role in disseminating the message of Indian culture and traditions all over the world. Children who would be participating in such an event would get an opportunity to learn about India\u2019s rich cultural heritage.\u00a0 <strong>The more they get exposed to such an atmosphere their love for their country would increase and they will be able to enrich their life by imbibing India\u2019s rich value system. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iskcon is\nrequesting the parents and school authorities to encourage the children to\nparticipate overwhelmingly in upcoming Janmashtami festival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fancy Dress Competition<\/li><li>Drawing Competition<\/li><li>Dance Competition<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Attractive\nprizes will be there for the winners. &nbsp;There\nwill be two separate groups for each competition. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Group 1: Up to Class 3. <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Group 2: Class 4 to Class 6.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Students\ncan call\/sms\/whatsapp at 9748612948\/9836362050 to register. &nbsp;Once the students register, they will be\ninformed about the theme of Fancy Dress, Drawing and Dance competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Program Schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Date:\n24<sup>th<\/sup> August 2019.<\/li><li>Time:\n7 pm to 8 pm.<\/li><li>Venue:\nISKCON New Town, Near Shapoorji Sukhobristi Complex, opp. Rabindra Bharti\nGlobal School, Kolkata &#8211; 700135<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Iskcon is celebrating the first Janmashtami festival at New Town on 24th August 2019.
