On Wednesday his clemency plea was\nrejected by Tennessee&#8217;s Governor Bill Lee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was electrocuted on Thursday and declared dead at 7:27 pm\nlocal time (00:27 GMT). He was the 11<sup>th<\/sup> person to be executed in\nUnited States this year. &nbsp;In 29 US states\ndeath penalty is legal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several people in US are against death sentence. Many\ncountries have abolished the practice and, in the countries, where the practice\nis still legal it is rarely being applied. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The critics say that, \u201cSince we are not God and we cannot\ngive life so why should we have the right to take other person\u2019s life?\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the counter argument is, \u201cWhat to do with the people who\ncommit heinous crimes?
